Character is evidenced by your life’s virtues and the “line you never cross.” Character is the most valuable thing you have, and nobody can ever take it away.
Character in life is what makes people believe in you and is essential both for individual success and for our society to function successfully. Throughout history, character education has been the shared responsibility of parents, teachers, , clergy, family members, and members of the community who come together to support positive character development. Windhorse Counseling wants to help!
Character education teaches the habits of thought and deed that help people live and work together as families, friends, neighbors, communities and even nations. Character education is a learning process that enables young people in a school, a church, or community youth group to understand, care about and act on core ethical values such as respect, justice, civic virtue and citizenship, and responsibility for self and others. Upon such core values, we form the attitudes and actions that are the hallmark of safe, healthy and informed communities that serve as the foundation of our society.
What Does Windhorse Counseling Provide?
We proudly offer three reasonably priced 1-3 day retreats, camps, or day camps that focus on three aspects of character. We offer these to school groups, church youth groups, community youth groups, etc. We always confer and customize these events for each groups needs and desires!
